The team is led by experienced practitioners and supported by a dedicated group of Practice Leaders, Special Counsels, and Senior Associates.ResponsibilitiesManage the conduct of multiple class actions, using case plans and effectively delegating and supervising legal staff.Provide strategic advice and updates to Shine's partnered litigation funders on budgeting for individual matters and portfolios.Develop and maintain robust client relationships with regular, explicit communication and expectation management.Contribute to the origination and development of new class action opportunities.Contribute to case strategy, including involvement with expert evidence and investigations into new class actions, and supervise junior solicitors.What you'll bringSignificant experience as a solicitor practising across complex commercial litigation and/or class actions.Desire to lead high performing legal teams.Robust legal analytical and research skills, with attention to detail.Ability to manage large volumes of complex documents and reports.Ability to manage the fiscal element of matters, including reporting to litigation funders and delegation of work within the team.Commitment to connect with colleagues and deliver exceptional results for clients.Motivation to contribute to Shine's culture and support an inclusive, thriving workplace.Shine Lawyers: A place for youIt's our clients who stand up to injustice, the communities we support, and our team who champion what's right.
