Overview
The Department of Health seeks a highly motivated and team-oriented Radiation Therapist for the WP Holman Clinic, Hobart, Tasmania. The department operates three Varian linear accelerators, a Canon CT simulator, the Eclipse planning system, and a Gulmay superficial x-ray unit. The role is under the supervision of a Senior Radiation Therapist or Area Supervisor and involves treatment and planning as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. Radiation Therapy techniques used at the clinic include IGRT, VMAT, DIBH, SBRT and SRT.
Responsibilities
* Carry out radiation therapy planning and treatment of patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
* Perform associated duties including patient care, general and technical administration.

Qualifications
* Registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
* All required registration/licences must remain current and valid throughout employment; the employee is responsible for maintaining registration and notifying the Employer of any changes.
Salary & Benefits
Permanent, full‐time day worker position (with on‐call) working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Salary range is $85,011 to $127,700 per annum, with a 12% superannuation contribution.
* Salary packaging available, including living expenses up to $9,010 and meal entertainment up to $2,650 per FBT year.
* A market allowance of 10% of the salary (approved until 31 March 2029) will be reviewed prior to expiry.
