Liftpass has been engaged by the sales leadership of a globally recognised industrial engineering solutions provider to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for NSW.

With an enviable track record in the design and delivery of complete, bespoke factory automation systems for global clients, the new appointee will join an organisation and respected brand, already embedded in Australian market.

About the role

This is a senior, frontline sales role. Operating as an ambassador for the organisation in NSW, you will be responsible for new business development, key account management and executing a regional go-to-market strategy that's yours to shape and define. With a sales cycles that are long and deals that are high value, your experience will give confidence to your customers that they are working with someone who genuinely understands what they're buying.

Specifically, you will:

* Drive new business across NSW — identifying, qualifying and closing with manufacturers, OEMs and system integrators
* Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts, building long-term relationships at senior levels
* Develop and execute a regional GTM strategy aligned to national objectives
* Lead commercial negotiations on customer terms and contracts, working closely with legal and technical teams.
* Analyse market data to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends across the region
* Build and drive your own pipeline, through proactive lead generation.

About you

You are already selling integrated automation or capital equipment solutions. You are comfortable in long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. Engineers trust you because you understand the technology. Commercial teams trust you because you can negotiate. You manage your own time, build your own pipeline and have the experience and drive to be able to operate with significant autonomy. You can also demonstrate:

* A proven track record in delivering sales in high-value, integrated automation solutions (ASRS, robotics, factory automation, automated storage or similar).
* An engineering degree or strong technical background with the credibility to inspire confidence in front of the customer's engineering team.
* An established network across NSW industrial and manufacturing sectors
* Confidence leading commercial negotiations at a senior level
* Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills — you'll be in front of both engineers and executives
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required
