Essential Qualifications & Skills
* Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline
* Current unencumbered WA C Class Driver's Licence and valid National Police Check
* Experience in mechanised underground hard-rock mining, including production and mine planning
* Skilled in mine design (lateral/vertical development) and planning software, preferably Deswik
* Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
* Proactive, flexible, and safety-focused with a strong work ethic
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently or within a team
Duties & Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver practical mine plans using Deswik, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Optimise mine designs and costs, exploring efficiency and alternative mining methods
* Review economic evaluations to meet production and financial targets
* Mentor and support developing planning engineers
