Opportunity for a Specialist Privacy Lawyer to join the expanding in‑house legal team of this global company. Senior Legal Counsel.
Overview
Our client is a truly global company and brand name known to most Australians. With this ever‑expanding business comes a new opportunity for a Lawyer to join the thriving in‑house team and assist in advising across complex Privacy and Digital matters for the APAC region.
The Role
* Senior Privacy Lawyer with 6‑10+ years PQE.
* Expertise in privacy, regulatory and cyber law.
* APAC remit; Melbourne based role.
* Advising on the interpretation and application of industry‑specific laws and relevant changes.
* Supporting the business’s relationships with regulators and providing leadership with comprehensive legal advice.
Experience in FMCG, retail and health industries desirable. Big data and customer rewards experience also an advantage.
Qualifications
* Law degree and admission as a lawyer.
* Minimum 6‑10+ years legal experience, preferably in privacy and cyber law.
* Strong understanding of APAC regulations and digital privacy frameworks.
