The Technical Services unit delivers specialist advice & services across the North West District & the wider TMR network, supporting preconstruction, design, GIS & asset management, environmental and cultural heritage services, and materials testing. As Manager (Technical Services), you will provide strategic leadership and direction to a high‐performing technical unit that supports the delivery of TMR's infrastructure programs. You will oversee a broad portfolio including design, GIS and asset management, preconstruction, materials testing, environmental and cultural heritage services, ensuring technical excellence, compliance and consistency across the district.
Responsibilities
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary workforce, applying robust governance frameworks.
• Manage technical capability and resources, coordinate consultants, and provide authoritative technical advice to the District Director and program managers.
• Contribute to strategic decision‐making and district‐wide initiatives as a valued member of the District Leadership Team.
