About the opportunity:
We are currently seeking a self‐motivated and experienced Machinist to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will work as part of a team with a primary focus on safe work practices in all daily tasks, whether that be in field maintenance, the workshop or branch environment.
Responsibilities of the position:
* Stripping and assessing pumps
* General machining & fabrication of parts
* Machine pump shafts
* Re‐assembling pumps
* Installation and commissioning pumps
* Being able to work in a team
* Repairing pump breakdowns
* General workshop duties/tasks
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have.
* An engineering qualification (Fitting/machining)
* Demonstrate safe practices in all you do
* Be a highly motivated individual
* Comfortable to take lead when required
* Show flexibility to jump onto any task to support team
