About the role:
Conways, a leading provider of bakery style food and beverage services in the Wimmera region is seeking a casual or part-time Shop Assistant to join our Front of House team in Horsham.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment to our hundreds of dine-in and takeaway customers daily
* Serving our specialty desserts, pies and pastries
* Preparing and serving our delicious salad rolls and sandwiches
* Preparing hot and cold beverages
* Making and assembling catering orders
* Assisting our back of house production team with food preparation, dishes and keeping our store clean, neat and tidy at all times.
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role will be highly regarded, particularly in a cafe or food retail environment.
* Barista experience would be advantageous.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
* A positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
* Reliability, and flexibility to work a rotating roster throughout the week as well as some Saturday mornings.
