An exciting full-time opportunity exists to join the Writer Services team for 12 months.
This position can be based out of any of our Australian offices.
Reporting to Director, Writer Services, leading the Writer Services Account Manager and Representative teams, ensuring alignment with divisional priorities and the effective day-to-day delivery of services to Writer Members.
This is a key leadership role within the Membership Division, responsible for both people management and stakeholder engagement, including APRA members and their representatives.
Focused on continuous improvement in our services to Writer Members, the Manager, Writer Services, oversees people management across both Writer Services teams, supports the Team Leader, Writer Services with Backbeat CRM, makes informed decisions on team workload, and leads or contributes to internal projects impacting the Writer Services function and APRA's Writer Members.

* You are a proven people leader with significant experience in the music industry.
* Passionate about our members; songwriters, composers and music industry organisations, you bring strong networking abilities and a deep understanding of the creative community.
* A natural communicator, problem solver with excellent administrative skills and you thrive in a collaborative team environment.
* You motivate and support others, demonstrate confident leadership, and can effectively resolve complaints or disputes within the team and across other departments.
* You must be comfortable working autonomously, while remaining available to support your team to deliver high quality engagement and retention outcomes for Writer Members.
