About the Role
As a Logistics Manager, you will oversee the full supply chain function, including routing of outbound shipments and managing end-to-end delivery of materials and finished goods.
* Lead the planning and coordination of outbound shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
* Drive clear, consistent, and customer-focused communication across the team.
* Ensure seamless and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods, meeting all quality, service, and contractual requirements.
* Collaborate with internal teams to optimize delivery schedules and ensure accurate cost coverage.
You will work closely with our Operations and Sales teams to build optimal delivery schedules, ensuring customer expectations are met and costs are accurately understood and covered.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to logistics teams.
* Oversee fleet management, including company drivers and contractors, and recommend changes to fleet size as needed.
* Maintain and develop contractor driver contracts.
* Continuously review and improve processes and systems to enhance safety, efficiency, and delivery performance.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior logistics management role.
* A professionally recognized supply chain or logistics certification (highly regarded).
* Experience in the movement or handling of processed glass products (highly desirable).
