About the role:
Step into a newly created leadership position with a global leader in medical devices and make a real impact. Reporting to the Head of Finance ANZ, you will be the key finance business partner for ANZ Operations, working closely with the Operations Leadership Team and the ANZ Head of Operations to drive smart, data-driven decisions and actionable strategies across all operational areas.
As Manager, Finance for Operations and Support Teams ANZ, you will lead budgeting and forecasting processes that shape the achievement of ANZ business objectives. Your expertise will be central to reducing cost to serve and ensuring operational excellence.
Over time, you will expand your influence by partnering with additional functional teams, helping to advance strategic goals and strengthen business performance across ANZ.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Partner
* Act as the primary finance partner for ANZ Operations and support other functional teams.
Reporting & Analysis
* Develop accurate reports and dashboards to provide financial insights for Operations and Leadership teams.
* Ensure data integrity and timely delivery of key metrics.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for ANZ Operations.
Freight
* Analyse freight cost drivers and develop strategies to optimise costs.
* Monitor 3PL performance and implement corrective actions.
Inventory
* Drive initiatives for Loan Set and Consignment Inventory utilisation and profitability.
* Manage obsolescence, expired stock, and inventory valuation accuracy.
* Support improvements in inventory planning and forecasting.
Billing
* Enhance billing processes including PO management and unbilled sales.
Service & Repairs
* Review and optimise service and repair processes and profitability.
Other
* Analyse OPEX, complete month-end tasks, and improve business processes.
* Maintain internal controls and assist with ad-hoc projects.
* Transition to primary finance partner for HR, QA/RA, Legal & Compliance, and G&A over time.
About the Requirements:
Education and Experience:
* Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Mathematics.
* CPA, CA or equivalent qualification is desirable.
* Experience working within the medical device or healthcare industry in ANZ and working closely with the Operations and Commercial Teams is an advantage.
* Experience in developing reports using multiple data sources and systems.
* 8+ years' experience in a Finance / Operations role.
* Experience with SAP FICO, PP, and MM preferred.
* Experience with Cognos & TM1 preferred.
* Strong skills in Power BI required.
* Advanced skills in MS Office required with excellent MS Excel modelling skills.

* Ability to prioritise multiple projects with daily requirements.
* Problem solve and develop solutions in order to reach specific goals.
* Comfortable working in an unstructured fast-paced environment.
* Autonomous and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
* Ability to develop positive working relationships and communicate effectively with Business Partners from Operations, Commercial, Marketing and across the support functions.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Well organised with strong time management skills.
