We are seeking an Estimator to join our team based at Stapylton, QLD. This is a full time, permanent role and will reporting to the Sales Manager. This critical role is focused on supporting tender submissions for a diverse range of projects.
Your day will involve:
Entering and updating projects into estimate data base
Unpacking tender invitations – reviewing tender conditions, briefs, scopes, specifications and other documentation
Performing take-offs and measuring quantities
Preparing unit rates and pricing estimates
Negotiating tenders with clients
Handing over tenders to production team
Assisting production team with follow up queries during execution of projects
Assisting with take-offs for large variations.
What are we looking for?
Tertiary qualifications in a Quantity Surveying, Building or Engineering discipline or Certificate IV in Building Construction
Experience as an Estimator or Project Engineer
Concrete structure or Form work experience beneficial
Ability to work independently and prioritise competing deadlines
High standard of customer focus.
