About the role
In a small, flexible environment, this role blends strategy, delivery, and hands‐on execution to turn fragmented data into trusted insights that drive decisions, boost performance, and enable future AI initiatives.
Key responsibilities
* Own and drive a strategic portfolio of data and insights initiatives that power the organisation forward.
* Partner with senior leaders to shape, size, and prioritise game‐changing projects.
* Lead end‐to‐end delivery of data initiatives, hitting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
* Lead design decisions across lakehouse, BI, analytics, and AI‐readiness to keep us ahead of the curve.
* Champion and embed practical data management practices–driving data quality, lifecycle control, metadata, and governance across the organisation.
About you
You're someone who sees beyond dashboards, connects signals across the business, and influences senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity. You also have:
* A proven track record building or significantly uplifting data and analytics capability in low‐maturity or greenfield environments.
* You're comfortable moving seamlessly between strategy, delivery leadership, and hands‐on execution.
* A strong grasp of modern data architectures, including lakehouse patterns and cloud data platforms.
* Demonstrated success delivering impactful analytics and BI outcomes in complex business settings.
* You're confident engaging senior leaders and translating data for non‐technical audiences.
