Financial Management Specialist
At our organization, we have a team of experts dedicated to overseeing the firm's financial liquidity, capital and risk. This includes providing overall financial control and reporting functions.
The Corporate Accounting division is responsible for handling the financial and regulatory reporting for the firm's subsidiaries in Australia. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing daily, monthly and annual regulatory capital monitoring and reporting;
* Maintaining books and records for the firm's subsidiaries;
* Preparing reporting packages under US GAAP;
* Preparing financial statements under relevant local GAAP;
* Ensuring control standards are maintained and documented;
* Collaborating with other divisions within the organization, both locally and globally.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, with a working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS preferred;
* Excellent written and oral communication skills;
* A self-motivated and proactive approach, with a desire to succeed;
* Strong control awareness;
* Excellent organizational skills;
* The ability to think broadly and make connections between diverse issues and tasks.
