About the role:
We are currently looking for reliable, compassionate, and values-driven individuals to join our growing team as Casual Disability Support Workers in the Casey/Cardinia area and Bayside region—including Clayton South, Narre Warren, and Pakenham. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll work in a range of settings including community programs, in-home care, and overnight respite (sleepovers).
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting people with community access, social engagement, and daily routines.
* Providing in-home support such as personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and companionship.
* Assisting with overnight respite care, including active or sleepover shifts, maintaining a safe and supportive environment throughout the night.
* Managing mobility needs, medication administration, and transport assistance.
* Responding to behaviours of concern with empathy and professionalism.
* Accurately completing documentation using basic computer systems.
What we are looking for:
* Available and dependable – Regular availability for weekdays, weekends, evenings, and overnight (sleepover) shifts is essential.
* Looking for long-term casual work – This role is best suited to those who want to grow and stay within the disability support sector.
* Flexible and proactive – Willing to travel between sites or support people in their homes across different suburbs.
* Empathetic and adaptable – Able to respond calmly and confidently in various support scenarios.
* Team-oriented – Committed to working respectfully and collaboratively with others.
Role Requirements
* Experience is not essential—we will provide training—but you must have or be willing to obtain:
* Level 2 First Aid and CPR certification
* Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
* NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
