The Cleaner – Innisfail is responsible for utilizing various equipment and chemicals to clean a range of surfaces in order to maintain the property in a clean and hygienic condition and according to infection control standards. The cleaner completes work in accordance with task action plan.
* Perform cleaning duties in line with MHSL Infection Control and Quality Standards, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting (excluding staff desks), emptying bins, and cleaning restrooms, kitchens, windows, walls, and high or difficult areas.
* Wash, dry, and store linen as required.
* Refill consumables such as hand towels and toilet paper.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, and arrange re‐ordering through approved processes.
* Record minor maintenance issues in the maintenance book.
* Work within required hours, including additional hours when needed to clean Mamu Health Service properties.
* Cleaning is to be completed within core business hours (7.00 am – 7.00 pm).
* Undertake other duties consistent with the role, as directed by the Manager.
Mandatory Requirements
* Vaccination or confirmed non‐susceptibility to Vaccine Preventable Diseases (including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis A & B, and Pertussis). Covid‐19 vaccination is strongly recommended.
* Proof of relevant qualifications and current registration (where applicable) must be provided before commencement.
* A current AFP Criminal History Check is required prior to employment.
* Ability and willingness to work across all Mamu Health Service Limited locations as required.
* Commitment to Mamu Health Service Values, Code of Conduct, and all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
