Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS – Australia
Join Global Medics, partnering with the Central Coast Local Health District to recruit a Staff Specialist/Consultant Psychiatrist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership to the team and ensure the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the service.
* Provide clinical governance to the team including expert psychiatric care and advice to young people and their families in CYMHS.
* Provide professional leadership in the area of Mental Health within a multidisciplinary environment and provide clinical leadership in clinical meetings such as MDT care reviews.
* Perform psychiatric assessment, treatment, and management of young people and their families.
Essential Selection Criteria
* Coming from the UK – Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 to date following satisfactory completion of a General Medical Council or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved specialty training program in psychiatry in the United Kingdom.
* Other Countries – Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
* Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health.
* Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
