The role
This is a rare chance to sit at the heart of a fast-growing franchise brand and help shape how P3 scales globally. As our Finance Manager, you’ll work from our Burleigh Heads HQ, serving as the strategic financial \"right hand\" to the CEO.
This role is analytical, commercial, and highly pivotal—focusing on financial guardianship, strategic modelling, and operational oversight. You will bridge the gap between our day-to-day operations and our high-level global strategy, working closely with the CEO, franchise partners, and external accountants to ensure our financial foundations are bulletproof as we scale.
While you’ll be supported by an offshore assistant and external specialist advisors, you’ll own the integrity of our financial data and the \"story\" behind our numbers. We are looking for a finance leader who loves future-proofing systems and building the robust frameworks necessary to support a rapidly expanding global footprint.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Growth
* Provide the CEO with the \"why\" behind the numbers, translating complex data into commercial insights.
* Build financial models for business expansions, new entities, and potential acquisitions.
* Lead finance-tech projects, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve our software and systems.
Financial Management & Reporting
* Produce monthly management accounts and reporting packs that drive decision-making.
* Maintain department budgets, cash budgets, and high-level cash flow projections.
* Maintain the integrity of inter-company transactions and depreciation registers.
* Maintain meticulous financial documentation and records.
Compliance & Operational Oversight
* Manage all statutory filings including BAS, WorkCover, and Payroll Tax returns.
* Review and audit the work of the offshore Finance Assistant (AR, AP, and Payroll).
* Manage corporate insurance portfolios.
* Oversee franchise royalty reporting.
* Act as the primary liaison for external accountants during annual tax returns.
What you own
* The accuracy and story of the P3 Global HQ financial data.
* Financial systems, software optimisation, and process refinements.
* Cash flow forecasting and budgetary integrity.
* Statutory compliance and bulletproof financial records.
What we’re looking for
* 5–7+ years experience in a broad finance role, ideally within an SME or growth-phase brand.
* Xero expertise (preferable) and a love for leveraging tech to create efficiencies.
* Meticulous attention to detail with an uncompromising standard for the accuracy of financial records and reconciliations.
* A commercial curiosity that drives you to investigate the data beyond the spreadsheet.
* Strong communication skills—you can work with everyone from franchisees to the CEO.
* Comfortable balancing high-level strategy with hands-on oversight in a fast-growing business.
