Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten is seeking a passionate Chef to join our Mickleham community.
This permanent part-time opportunities are ideal for Chefs who enjoy preparing healthy, nutritious meals for children while being part of a supportive and values-driven organisation.
Your Role
You will be instrumental in running the day-to-day operations of the centre kitchen, working Monday to Friday with no nights or weekends.
This role offers autonomy, stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's wellbeing through nutrition.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your passion for preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–6 years.
You Will
* Plan and prepare daily meals including breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
* Cater for dietary requirements including allergies, intolerances and anaphylaxis
* Plan nutritionally balanced menus aligned with the Healthy Together Achievement Program
* Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards
* Manage stock ordering and adhere to budget guidelines
* Engage with educators, children and families to foster a strong sense of community
About You
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher)
* Food Safety Supervisor & Safe Food Handling certificates
* Previous childcare experience preferred
* Strong understanding of dietary requirements and food safety standards
* Excellent time management and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and maintain a clean, functional kitchen
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Current Working With Children Check
* First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
