Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our multidisciplinary team and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children impacted by family and domestic violence.
This is an opportunity to create real impact and make a positive difference in the lives of families in a beautiful region of Australia. As a Support Worker, you will provide trauma-informed case management and safety planning, supporting clients through crisis and short-term recovery pathways.
You will coordinate wraparound services, referrals, and advocacy, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care. Your commitment to cultural safety and trauma-informed practice will be invaluable in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
About You
We welcome applicants with experience in community services or case management. Formal qualifications are not required, but you will need (or be willing to obtain): National Police Clearance, Working With Children Check, and up-to-date Influenza vaccination.
* Experience supporting vulnerable clients
* Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to manage risk assessments and safety planning

Benefits
This role offers:
* $80,000 – $90,000 + Super (based on experience)
* Salary packaging up to $15,900
* 6 weeks annual leave + Remote Area Allowance ($1,300)
