A well-established facility in Canberra is looking for a Caretaker to join their growing team. This organisation prides itself on its culture and unique working environment, and are known as a well-respected business.
Your new role
As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the presentation and upkeep of a set of buildings. You will provide professional and superior service by ensuring the buildings and surrounding areas are always presented at their best.
This includes but is not limited to:
* Cleaning the building's external and internal areas is a prime focus of this position, including picking up rubbish, sweeping and removing cobwebs.
* Lawn and grounds maintenance as needed, such as mowing and weeding
* General repairs and maintenance both scheduled and reactive
* Liaise with tenants, the general public and subcontractors if required
What you'll need to succeed
Aside from having previous experience in a similar role, you will be able to work autonomously and collaborate with your wider team, as well as having:
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Be a self-starter with a high attention to detail and professional presentation
* White card, asbestos awareness, Chemical Certificate
* A valid driving licence - A truck licence is desirable
* Be able to pass a 10-year police check
