Summary:
Clarence Village are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team in our Aged care Home. This role assists the catering team day to day to produce nutritious, tasty and safe meals for residents. We are looking for casual and Perm part time applicants. This role will include working shift work hours. Am shifts starting at 6am- 230pm and PM shifts starting at 230pm-2200hrs
Successful applicants will be called for a phone interview prior to having a formal interview.
Responsibilities:
* Setting up trays for residents.
* Taking receipt of and checking goods received.
* Unpacking of stock.
* Support with washing and packing away dishes.
* Clearing and resetting tables.
* Maintaining a clean Dining Room.
* Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
