Overview

The Warehouse/Inventory Manager must support and oversee the inventory of finished goods, ingredients, packaging, operational, and sanitation supplies, plus warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, shipping, and the delivery of all finished material.

Responsibilities

- Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
- Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
- Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
- Ensuring inventory, storage, and staging areas are clean
- Monitor warehouse associates to ensure safety. Safety checks include forklift, PPE, and 5’s.
- Complete all daily cycle counting processes with top level accuracy
- Maintain record of all documentation according to procedure and ensure accuracy of all products transferred to othered internally or to other facilities
- Prepare and update all required paperwork for vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories and resolve any issues in same

Qualifications

- Forklift Certification
- 2-4 years of relevant experience working in the food industry, warehousing, and inventory
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to delegate when assigning employee workloads
- Critical thinking skills needed to manage production related issues
- Explicit knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to multitask in a challenging environment
- Management skills
- Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse and inventory efficiently
- Ability to use inventory management tools; including, but not limited to Excel, Peoplesoft, SysPro, and/or similar programs
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor
- Willingness to work additional hours if necessary
- Possess a cheerful outlook, be flexible/adaptable and able to practice team building and show good, positive people skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Analytical ability to develop and implement improvement recommendations
- Must be self-motivated and directed
- Must be able to manage time to increase productivity and effectiveness

Pay rate is decided based on experience and knowledge.
