Pastry Cook / Chef Role
As a Pastry Cook or Chef, you will be responsible for the creation, development, and presentation of all pastry and dessert items.
You'll work closely with the Head Chef to ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence across all dishes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and produce desserts and specialty items
Manage ordering, inventory, and cost control for the pastry section
Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
Bring creativity, precision, and strong technical skills to the team
Requirements
Proven experience (3 years) as a Pastry Cook, Cook, or Chef
Relevant qualifications or at least 3 years of equivalent experience
Strong attention to detail and creativity in plating and design
Solid understanding of kitchen operations and cost management
Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate others
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training in cookery or pastry arts
