About Darling Downs Bank we are a customer-owned financial institution providing loans and financial services to benefit our community. We have 11 Board meetings per year requiring approximately one day a month for meetings with additional time needed for meeting preparation.
Mission Critical Skills
* Strong knowledge and familiarity with local business and community issues
* Banking operations and practices
* Technology awareness cyber security is desirable but not essential
* Risk management governance and oversight
Your Responsibilities
1. Attend board meetings either in-person or online preferring in-person attendance
2. Assist with organisational direction strategy and vision
3. Act as an ambassador representative for the organisation
4. Exercise strong governance oversight judgement and decision making
