The Boulevard Cafe on the Lake is a welcoming cafe known for serving fresh, high-quality food in a relaxed atmosphere. We are passionate about great food and excellent customer service. We are seeking a skilled and passionate full-time Cook to join our team. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to a high standard
* Preparing ingredients including vegetables, proteins, sauces and condiments for daily kitchen operations
* Ensuring consistent food quality, presentation and portion control across all dishes
* Maintaining a clean and well‐organised kitchen environment
* Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
* May assist Head Chef/Chefs with menu development and recipe planning
* Working collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent service
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Cook in a similar environment
* Relevant culinary qualifications
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced kitchen
* Good communication and teamwork skills
