We are seeking a
Senior Project Manager / Director
with
15+ years of experience
—someone highly experienced, results-driven, and capable of leading large-scale CAPEX projects to successful completion.
You will join a highly skilled team working to further strengthen and advance our pharmaceutical hub in Greater Copenhagen.
While experience within pharmaceutical CAPEX projects is preferred, we also welcome applicants from other regulated industries with relevant large-scale project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all phases of large-scale CAPEX projects, including planning, execution, cost control, and risk management.
Serve as the accountable Project Manager / Director for projects typically exceeding multi-hundred-million- Euros, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, methodologies, and reporting structures.
Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation plans, and drive proactive solutions to minimize project uncertainties.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP standards, and internal company policies.
Provide clear, structured, and proactive communication to senior management, steering committees, and other key stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge to enhance project management practices across the organization.
Knowledge and Experience
15+ years of experience
managing CAPEX projects within the
pharmaceutical sector
, or other highly regulated industries.
Proven track record as
responsible Project Manager
for large-scale CAPEX projects (worth several hundred million euros).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
Deep expertise in project governance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and project controls.
Experience working in GMP-regulated environments is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex project information clearly to senior stakeholders.
Fluency in written and spoken
English
; knowledge of Danish is an advantage but not required.
