Customs House Hotel is a stunning heritage-listed building overlooking the harbour, known for its lively beer garden, elegant restaurant, and exceptional events. We're looking for two passionate, hands-on hospitality professionals to join our leadership team:
* Restaurant Supervisor – leading daily restaurant operations
* Functions Supervisor – coordinating and delivering seamless private events, weddings, and functions
About the Roles
Both roles are key to creating memorable guest experiences at Customs House.
As Restaurant Supervisor, you'll:
* Lead the floor and oversee daily restaurant service
* Support and motivate the front-of-house team
* Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep service flowing
* Ensure every guest has an outstanding dining experience
As Functions Supervisor, you'll:
* Oversee setup, service, and pack-down of events and weddings
* Lead and brief the functions team on timing and service standards
* Work closely with the Functions & Events Manager to execute each event to perfection
* Be the on-the-day point of contact for clients and guests
About You
We're looking for hospitality leaders who:
* Have experience in a supervisory or senior FOH role
* Are confident leading a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Have strong attention to detail and communication skills
* Bring a positive, hands-on attitude to every shift
* Hold a current RSA
* Event or function experience is highly regarded for the Functions Supervisor role.
