Quantity Surveyor Role
This role is ideal for a detail-focused professional who is confident with measurement and excited to work with a collaborative estimating team that values quality, clarity, positivity and consistency.
You will support senior surveyors, estimators and commercial teams by delivering accurate and timely quantity take-offs and assisting with cost plans, tender prep and benchmarking. This is a technical role with exposure to real projects that shape communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications (civil, landscape, structures)
* Assisting in the development of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and project cost summaries
* Contributing to benchmarking and internal pricing databases
* Collaborating with local estimators to align on formats, systems and project timelines
* Working within Australian standards and formats under guidance
Requirements:
* 1–2 years of professional experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Construction Cost Planning
* Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
* Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications
* Experience using 2D and 3D software
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical working style
* Ability to follow direction, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly over collaborative platforms
