Complete Portables is seeking an experienced Designer Modular Manufacturing to join our growing team. The role is suited to someone who has flair able to think innovatively and bring a new age of designs to an already successful and dynamic team. Able to deliver accurate, compliant drawings while also bringing creative and artistic input to design outcomes, working collaboratively across design, production, and construction.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed drawings and documentation to support modular building projects from concept through to construction. This role will be reporting to the Building Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepared detailed packages using AutoCAD
* Develop designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, and specifications
* Produce accurate fabrication and construction drawings, including revisions and amendments
* Introducing new and innovative designs and products to our designs from concept to conceptual Ensure all drawings and documentation are completed accurately and kept up to date
* Identify and resolve drafting and construction related issues
* Be creative with designs and use of products design input, including layout, form, and visual presentation
* Apply design flair to enhance the visual and functional outcomes of modular buildings
* Translate concepts and ideas into practical, aesthetically considered design solutions
About You:
* Proven experience as a Draftsperson or Designer, ideally within modular construction or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of modular building systems and construction processes
* Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly regarded)
* High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
* Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Demonstrated creative and artistic design capability, not limited to technical drafting
* Ability to interpret and develop concepts into well- considered visually appealing designs
