Your role will be to support our Specialist Physicians and Surgeons with second to none admin support. You will report to the Practice Manager. Permanent part time position working approximately three days per week with the possibility of increasing this as needed.
Duties & responsibilities:
* Running of busy clinics
* Checking in patients
* Updating records, scanning and importing medical records
* Billing, debt chasing (including liaising with Medicare and Health Funds)
* Manage phone calls and other administrative duties
Skills & experience:
* Previous Medical Reception experience is essential for this role
* Preferred working days are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
* Flexibility to pick up additional days as needed
* You need to be able to work well within a small team as well as independently
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and work well in a busy environment
* Positive attitude and show initiative
* Confident liaising with Specialist Doctors
* High attention to detail
