Diesel Mechanic
Citywide are recruiting for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the Workshop team at our North Melbourne depot. Working on the Citywide vehicle and equipment fleet, you will be using your expertise to trouble shoot, carry out servicing and inspections as well as other general maintenance activities.
1. Monday to Friday – 7am to Bonus – Conditions apply
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
2. Carrying out servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
3. Completing unplanned maintenance, trouble shoot and address mechanical faults
4. Attending and carrying out maintenance for breakdowns that occur in the field
5. Conducting basic electrical systems tests to identify potential faults
6. Conducting vehicle inspections to validate road worthiness and safety
7. Liaising with workshop stores/admin for ordering parts
Skills, qualifications and attributes required:
8. Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic
9. Experience with hydraulics/pneumatics
10. Victorian Drivers Licence
11. Heavy Vehicle Licence (Desirable)
12. Good communication skills
13. Ability to work well in a team environment
