Customer Service Officer | Community Bank San Remo, VIC
This full-time, 12-month fixed term contract role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with transactions, supporting digital literacy and online banking, and guiding customers to solutions that suit their needs.
Responsibilities
- Explore customers’ needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partner with specialists within the branch
- Assist customers with transactions, cash handling, inquiries, and paperwork while maintaining strong risk considerations
- Support customers with digital literacy and online banking needs as products and services evolve
- Be the branch face and primary point of contact for customers, providing a high standard of service
- Engage in on-the-job training and external development opportunities to advance your career
- Build connections and contribute to the community through branch activities and customer support
What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience in a customer service environment with the ability to achieve targets
- Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset
- Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone
- Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different
- Collaboration mindset and team spirit
- Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but not essential
