Job Description
This role will see you performing all aspects of clinical embryology services and procedures in the laboratory. As an embryologist your scope of work will include:
* Manual handling of gametes and embryos
* Intra‐cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
* Pre‐implantation diagnosis (PGD) including embryo hatching, biopsy and tissue handling
* Laboratory maintenance including equipment checks, stock management and routine maintenance
* Communicating directly with patients and maintaining accurate records
Qualifications
* Qualification in embryology or a related biological science discipline
* 2+ years of experience working in an IVF laboratory environment
* Demonstrated competency in clinical embryology procedures, including ICSI and PGD techniques
* Meticulous attention to detail with a strong work ethic and commitment to highest standards of practice
* Ability to work effectively as part of a large, dynamic, and skilled team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a genuine commitment to patient care
* Proficiency in laboratory information management systems and accurate record‐keeping
* Understanding of laboratory safety protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
