About the Role

As an Environmental and Hazardous Materials Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional consulting services across various environmental and hazardous materials projects.

Responsibilities

* Investigating and managing contaminated sites, including remediation and risk assessments.
* Conducting asbestos monitoring and fibre count laboratory work.
* Completing hazardous materials and asbestos surveys, management plans, and clearance inspections.
* Supervising asbestos removal projects on-site.
* Preparing technical reports, scopes of work, and offering expert advice.
* Managing client relationships and ensuring project delivery aligns with timelines and budgets.
* Supporting business development efforts to contribute to team growth.

Qualifications

* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering or Science.
* A current Asbestos Assessors License and 3 – 5+ years’ experience in Environmental or Hazardous Materials Consulting.
* Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation.
* Excellent communication skills for both client engagement and team collaboration.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills to provide innovative solutions.
* A proactive approach to business development and mentoring junior staff.
* A current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and legislation.
* Excellent communication skills for both client engagement and team collaboration.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills to provide innovative solutions.
* A proactive approach to business development and mentoring junior staff.

Preferred Skills
