Our client is a residential construction company based in Ormeau, specialising in new home construction across South East Queensland.
With a strong reputation for delivering quality workmanship and responsive service, the team works closely with insurers, trades and homeowners to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard. Due to continued growth, the business is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Construction Administrator to support the construction team.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on Senior Construction Administrator role supporting the construction team across residential projects.
While this is not a formal leadership role, you will be the most senior administrator in the team, working closely with the Director and providing support and guidance to two other Construction Administrators.
The role requires someone experienced in working for a residential builder, who understands the pace and detail required to keep construction projects moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage construction administration across multiple residential and insurance projects
* Prepare and issue building contracts, variations and construction documentation
* Coordinate project documentation and maintain accurate records
* Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and insurers
* Assist with scheduling and coordination of projects
* Ensure compliance documentation and project records are maintained
* Support and provide guidance to two Construction Administrators
* Maintain organised systems to ensure smooth project delivery
About You
* Previous experience working for a residential builder is essential
* Strong background in construction administration
* Experience managing contracts, variations and construction documentation
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with trades, supervisors and stakeholders
* A proactive and supportive team member who can assist junior administrators
