Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
BaptistCare Clinton Place is a vibrant and friendly aged care community located in the heart of Goulburn, NSW. Our facility features 66 one-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom units providing a welcoming and active environment for seniors.
About The Role
* We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to oversee and perform upkeep tasks ensuring buildings, equipment, furniture, fittings, grounds and carparks remain in good condition.
* This full-time permanent position will be responsible for managing and performing both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to residents and staff.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain buildings, plant, equipment, furniture, fittings, grounds, and carparks.
* Ensure all maintenance activities meet Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant regulations.
* Collaborate with the Site Manager and Area Manager to deliver maintenance services effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of asset acquisitions and disposals, and ensure site vehicles, plant, and machinery are well-maintained.
* Manage contractors, tradespeople, suppliers, and volunteers to ensure work is completed to high standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
* Trade qualifications (desired).
* Experience working with contractors and managing their work.
* Effective communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of building maintenance, plant, and equipment.
* Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
* Organizational and time management skills.
* Commitment to upholding our values and standards.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Prior experience with CMMS systems would be beneficial but not essential.
* A current Police Check and NSW Working with Children Check are mandatory for paid employment purposes.
