Culinary Professional Wanted
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
1. Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and light dinner menu items to the highest standards.
2. Assist with menu planning, portion control and stock management to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
3. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene requirements at all times.
4. Supervise or train junior kitchen staff as needed to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Certificate III (or higher) in Commercial Cookery is preferred but not essential.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience as a cook or chef in a café or bistro environment is required.
* Understanding of kitchen safety, hygiene and HACCP standards is essential.
