Conversational Search Research Project
This research project focuses on improving human interaction with information through spoken conversational search.
The goal is to develop effective summarisation techniques for presenting search results over speech and create patterns for conversational interaction with search results and underlying information.
Partnership with an industry partner will involve developing conversational interfaces for the visually impaired.
We are seeking highly motivated students with a degree in Computer Science or related fields who have some background in Interactive Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, and/or Spoken Dialogue Systems/techniques.
Requirements include a completed undergraduate degree and international students are welcome with possible tuition fee waivers.
