A.B. Paterson College is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Health and Physical Education Teacher working across Junior classes.
This is a full-time, fixed term position for Term 2 (Monday 20 April - Friday 19 June).
We are looking for an educator who is passionate about teaching and committed to delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned learning experiences that inspire students to think critically and achieve their personal best. The ability to teach across multiple year levels and adapt to diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love of learning across relevant year levels.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and academic growth, using proactive behaviour strategies.
* Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning goals.
* Contribute to the College's pastoral care and co-curricular programs, building strong relationships with students and supporting their holistic development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, reflect on teaching practices, and contribute to a culture of innovation and professional excellence.

* Current Teacher Registrationis a requirement of this position
