About the role
Are you looking for a casual role as an Excavator & Bobcat Operator in Orange, NSW and surrounding area's across NSW for upcoming projects. Civil Construction Surveys' is seeking an experienced machine operator to join our team. This is a casual position, with flexible work arrangements available to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing
* Operating excavators to carry out essential civil construction tasks such as site preparation, earthmoving, and materials handling
* Ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently, in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
* Performing routine maintenance and pre-start checks on the machinery to keep it in optimal working condition
* Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards
* Maintaining accurate records of work performed and equipment usage
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as an excavator and or Bobcat operator, ideally within the civil construction industry
* Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and the ability to operate machinery in a responsible and diligent manner
* Familiarity with reading construction plans and interpreting site requirements
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected challenges on the job
* Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* A valid driver's licence and the ability to obtain any necessary plant operating licences
