Casey Grammar School is a Foundation to Year 12 School with a proven reputation for providing quality education. Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic VCE Product Design (Wood) teacher to teach Year 7 to Year 12 Product Design (Wood) classes.

This is a long service leave replacement contract position commencing Monday 20 April and concluding Friday 26 June 2026.

Role Description

* Role model and inspire a passion for Product Design (Wood) in all students
* Use teaching strategies based on sound knowledge of students' physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning
* Contribute to the academic growth of each student through data informed practice
* Actively engage in the School's Thrive (Teacher Performance Development) Program
* Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents/carers regarding their children's learning and wellbeing
* Skill and interest in teaching Product Design (Wood)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus time management skills
* Knowledge and understanding of best practice in education
* Skilled in creating a warm, welcoming, and productive classroom environment
* Ability to foster and promote positive relationships with all stakeholders (students, colleagues, parents and the wider community)
* Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team
* Be a role-model of lifelong learning
