Clarendon Homes, part of Campbell Property Group (CPG) — one of Australia's leading residential construction and property development companies — is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Permits Officer to join our Loganholme, QLD team on a Maternity Leave Contract until March 2027.

What you'll do
* Manage council, certifier, and authority approvals across residential projects
* Prepare and lodge permit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Coordinate documentation including BASIX/energy reports, engineering, and plans
* Liaise with councils, certifiers, consultants, and internal teams to progress approvals
* Track permit status and follow up outstanding items to meet build timelines
* Maiintain accurate records across internal systems and workflows
* Support Sales, Drafting, Estimating, and Construction teams to enable smooth handovers
* Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer outcomes
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Experience in permits administration, approvals coordination, or residential construction
* Understanding of council approval processes and compliance requirements (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple applications and competing deadlines
* Confident communication skills when liaising with internal teams and external authorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/build management systems
* A proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to quality outcomes
* Previous experience within residential home building or local government approvals will be highly regarded.
