Plan and manage events, conferences, workshops, expositions and education programs
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the preparation and delivery for events.
- Provide input into education and event program and strategy.
- Supervise and co-ordinate employees at events.
- Administer and report monthly on the events budget and activities and maintain the events calendar.
- Identify, liaise and negotiate with potential private and public sector partners for their involvement with the events programs.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key partners, customers and stakeholders.
- Develop systems to ensure the effective management of events, conferences, workshops, expos, and education programs, in alignment with relevant strategies and business plans.
- Provide on-site administration for events and functions where required. Tasks could include registrations, hosting delegates, speaker coordination and liaison with venue staff.
- Develop and maintain communication and marketing materials to support the delivery of events and education programs.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of all events.
- Research and implement best practice event solutions.
- Significant experience and proven ability in event management and promotion.
- Experience in developing and utilising marketing and communication material displaying strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to establish and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
