... 6 month contract offers a great opportunity to work with one of Qld's leading healthcare providers in a varied, challenging, leadership role. Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, this role will lead and mentor a large team across financial reporting and year end activities, partner closely with operational and executive stakeholders and strengthen reporting capability and governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading the end-of-month and year-end reporting processes across multiple entities
* Managing and mentoring a large finance team, building capability and accountability
* Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards, audit, tax, and regulatory requirements
* Driving process improvement, automation, and reporting efficiencies
* Partnering with operational leaders to provide commercially relevant financial insights
* Managing external audit relationships and technical accounting matters
* Improving reporting frameworks, controls, and data integrity across the group
You are a technically strong CA/CPA qualified finance leader with proven experience managing complex reporting environments within large corporate or multi-entity organisations.
