The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Antenatal Midwife to join our team running our Monday to Friday Antenatal Day Assessment Clinic (9am–5pm) – with some flexibility around hours. You will be required to attend Ranzcog FSEP CTG assessment day to further your knowledge.
Reporting to both Birth Suite Managers, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. There will also be opportunities to further your learning if you wish to orientate onto the Birth Suite in future.
You'll be providing care for antenatal women requiring:
IV hydrationBlood pressure monitoringCTG assessmentsAnti-D administrationEarly labour assessmentsInduction of labour
Skills And Experience
Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered MidwifeMinimum three (3) years' experience caring for antenatal womenStrong clinical skills and confidence in managing day assessment needsMust be competent in CTG assessmentsA team player with a kind and professional approachBirth unit experience would be valuable, but not necessary
