About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the performance, consistency, expansion of new sites and operational excellence of 7 Anytime Fitness clubs across Tasmania (North & South Tasmania).
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving results through people, systems, standards, and accountability. You will work closely with Club Managers to lift performance, build strong teams, improve member experience, and ensure every club operates at a consistently high standard.
We are looking for a proven leader with significant operational experience (ideally 10–15+ years) who understands how to drive performance in KPI-driven environments and can lead people with clarity, consistency, and credibility.

Key Responsibilities
As Operations Manager, you will:
1. Oversee daily operations across 7 Anytime Fitness clubs, providing direct leadership to State/Regional Managers while driving consistency in standards, performance and culture
2. Drive performance through strong routines, systems, structure, and follow-through.
3. Monitor and improve KPIs across all sites, including:
4. Membership sales
5. Lead conversion
6. Retention & churn
7. Member experience
8. Digital Marketing
9. Support clubs to hit budgets and manage wages effectively, with strong financial and commercial acumen.
10. Ensure all clubs are clean, well-presented, well-maintained, and consistently meeting Anytime Fitness brand standards.
11. Maintain compliance across WHS, safety, security, and operational requirements — ensuring all sites are audit-ready.
12. Manage contractors and suppliers to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed quickly and to standard.
13. Recruit, onboard, and develop Club Managers and key staff as required, building leadership depth across the network.
14. Be a visible, structured leader across Tasmania, with strong organisation, communication, and a willingness to travel regularly between sites.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* 10–15+ years leadership experience in a KPI-driven business
(fitness, franchise, retail, hospitality, or multi-site operations)
* Proven experience leading multi-site operations or geographically distributed teams
* Strong people leadership capability — able to coach, develop, and performance-manage managers
* A systems-driven mindset
* Strong commercial acumen — confident working with KPIs, budgets, wages, and performance reports
* High standards for presentation, service, and operational excellence
* Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
* A current driver's license and the ability to travel regularly across Tasmania
* Police Check, First Aid & CPR, WWCC
