Position Overview
Full‐time (37.5 hrs per week), permanent. Based in Karratha, supporting diverse regional communities. This leadership role blends clinical expertise, operational oversight, and community engagement to deliver trauma‐aware, person‐centred mental health support for people aged 16+ via the IPMHC program.
Responsibilities
* Deliver trauma‐aware, person‐centred mental health support for people aged 16+.
* Guide clinical teams, coordinate comprehensive care pathways, and champion best practices.
* Lead clinical assessments and craft tailored care plans.
* Oversee multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with community health and service partners.
* Support clinical governance, quality assurance, and staff supervision.
* Work in regional or remote environments with cultural sensitivity, equity and inclusion.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant clinical discipline such as nursing, psychology or social work.
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Demonstrated expertise supporting people with complex mental health issues, including assessments, safety planning and care coordination.
* Prior leadership experience in clinical governance, quality assurance and supervising staff.
* Current WA Working with Children Check and WA Driver's Licence.
* Current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Clearance.
Remuneration and Benefits
* Salary starting from $129,279 per annum (incl. 10% remote localities allowance) + 12% super.
* Tax‐free salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum.
* Rent subsidy up to $350 per week and electricity allowance up to $1,000 per annum (eligibility criteria apply).
* Additional 8 days of annual leave per year.
