Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Wahroonga Community Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients by providing expert nursing care and support in alignment with NDIS guidelines.
Rate: $60-$80 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive health assessments for clients with disabilities.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
* Monitor and evaluate the health status of clients, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
* Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding their health needs.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS regulations and documentation requirements.
* Collaborate with support workers and other healthcare professionals to optimize client outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
* Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* A commitment to delivering person-centered care and promoting client independence.
* Knowledge of NDIS policies and procedures is a plus.
