What You'll Do:
• Provide personalised nutritional assessment and care planning for older adults
• Support clients living with chronic illness, frailty, malnutrition, or special dietary needs
• Deliver practical advice on hydration, supplements, and mealtime routines
• Educate carers and families to improve nutrition and quality of life
• Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team
• Deliver services in clinic, home, or residential aged care settings
• Support research in aged care and community settings
What You'll Bring:
• Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) registration with Dietitians Australia
• Experience in aged care, community health, or working with older adults
• Ability to communicate with empathy, clarity, and respect—especially where cognitive or sensory challenges are present
• Knowledge of aged care nutrition standards, dysphagia, and chronic disease management
• Excellent documentation and client education skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach to care

Company Overview
Harbison is a charitable, community-owned, not-for-profit organisation that provides residential and non-residential care and support services for aged or disabled people, including a range of support services and systems to assist aged and disabled people to achieve maximum independence and integration within a residential or community setting, education and training of professionals and other care providers, and activities which are incidental or conducive to these objectives. Currently, Harbison is an approved aged care provider, registered NDIS provider, approved childcare provider, retirement village owner, and one of the largest employers in the Southern Highlands. Harbison is governed by a Board of Directors which appoints a Chief Executive Officer who is delegated with day-to-day responsibility for the organisation.
